It starts with a big boss fight against a mech and then you're fighting Germans in the Battle of the Bulge, except it's like Inception and there's weird gravity and the world's ripping itself apart, and then you have to fight off demon wolves and zombies.

Also I dont know if I should count games that are dedicated entirely on tripping you out topologically (Anti chamber, stanley parable) or creating trippy landscapes (Psychonauts) or visuals (Child of eden, Rez), because it seems like cheating.

it was a railroad scripted handhold sequence, but the scene in far cry 3 where you're walking and a path of televisions illuminate the way, with fluorescent tubes as stairs was really really cool
