When a man lies he murders some part of the world. These are the pale deaths which men miscall their lives. All this I cannot bear to witness any longer. Cannot the kingdom of salvation take me home?

Holy poo poo I got busy doing something else and thought I would check the scores before I turned the match on. Turns out the match was long since over. Dimitrov shows promise somedays and then just seems to not show up others.

Partly though Dimitrov just had no chance because Murray played so well. He probably would have beaten just about anybody. If he keeps it up he'll sweep Nishikori in the quarters.

They've been that way forever. Oh, Murray has a 72% chance of winning the set if he gets 40% of his first serves in? Wow, that'll really affect how I watch and enjoy the match. Who knew that getting your first serves in made you more likely to win a tennis match.

Konjuh was really good today. Tons of winners and her serve was crazy good. If she can cut down on the errors and keep improving (she's 18!) she could be one of the best in the world imo.

Carebear fights back against Vinci in the 1st set. Down a break at 4-5, now leads 6-5.

If she wins this match Serena must reach the final to keep #1, I think?

Normally I'd be kind of bummed that Murray lost but he's won Wimbledon and the Olympics this year so whatever. Also this was a hideous match in general and I'm glad it's over regardless of outcome. Hopefully the night session is better but I'm not staying up for that.

On a sidenote I really dislike that umpire's voice, for some reason I find her intonation really grating.

btw this is actually a good thing because Murray would probably have beaten Wawrinka or Delpo and Wawrinka and Delpo are the only players who know how to beat Djokovic

Comes back a while later and Halep holds serve for 5-3 lead. We got ourselves a match yow!
