Kerber has lost herself. If she does lose that would mean she lost the Olympics, Cincy and the US Open finals.

Sodium Chloride posted:Kerber has lost herself. And Wimbledon. In a way it's typical of Kerber since she always had a poor record in finals. Except now she's losing the finals at the big tournaments rather than the small ones.

Ah forgot to add 'in a row' to my post. Pliskova trying to piss away the match. e: and she did piss it away. Well done Angie. Sodium Chloride fucked around with this message at 23:27 on Sep 10, 2016 |

It's good we don't have a Wozniacki situation with the #1

Highlight of the night is the guard stopping her from jumping back down out of her box and instead leading her out through the crowd.

Pretty good match overall. It's nice that she's taking the number one ranking with a win rather than a loss.

Very happy for Kerber. Good job. Out of all the German ladies that popped up over the last five, six years (Kerber, Petkovic, Lisicki), I always thought Petkovic would eventually win a Grand Slam. And then she caught the injury bug. edit: Seriously, what a year. 3 Grand Slam finals, 2 Grand Slam titles, and Silver in Rio. That's legit as gently caress.

Djokovic got the break by doing nothing, just like he got to the final by doing nothing.

Djokovic doesn't look quite right. May be he should retire. No doubt he'll try to get a massage of the trainer again.

Well I can't watch any more since I have work in the morning but gently caress Djokovic and I hope he loses.

It's amazing how clutch Stan has become over the past few years. Complete 180 from how he used to be.

Djokovic is falling apart in a very Monfils way. I think the only reason he hasn't called the trainer is everyone criticised him for doing it so many times here for no real reason. e: oh never mind, here comes the trainer. It's bullshit he was allowed to do it on Stan's serve. His gross feet are clearly not an emergency. Sodium Chloride fucked around with this message at 00:52 on Sep 12, 2016 |

Can you have two medical time outs in a set? His toe is bleeding but he couldn;t have known that.

Djokovic deserves our respect for fighting through such a severe injury and finishing the match. Truly a heroic effort that will put him in the history books next to Willis Reed and Kerri Strug.
