Picard's ship is vastly more powerful (proportionally) than Kirk's, and yet he can oppress the entire system nonstop without wreaking havoc everywhere he goes. if Picard had the same demeanor in the captain's chair as Kirk the entire alpha quadrant would be a smoldering pile.

Picard is the best because Patrick Stewart is the best actor of all time but Kirk is also good and very entertaining. I like both. You are also allowed to like both Star Wars and Star Trek. I like both of those, too. Doctor Who loving sucks, though

kirk is closer to riker than picard he goes on every away mission and fucks aliens except even riker got command now and then and acted way more like a captain than kirk his crew "likes" him befriend him and are loyal to him but thats about it picard doesnt lose his cool but he will take on anyone including all of the starfleet command admirals put together if he knows hes right (and he is) and he is up for kicking rear end when as needs or deserves to be kicked his crew respects and revere him, willing to die for him specifically not just the enterprise or the rest of its crew picard the enterprise itself was the flagship of starfleet like the kings chariot it was equipped for war but its mission was generally exploration gary oldmans diary fucked around with this message at 17:23 on Aug 30, 2016 |
