The drives are faster and bigger, so who wouldn't upgrade?

And I throw my old 256GB drives into family members machines or my PC at work where they aren't going to punished with heavy use.

Well, I am still using two of my 840 Pro 256GB SSDs. They are wonderful for an OS drive. Probably 4 years old now?
