I have to go to Boston about 2 - 3 times per year. Just often enough to remind me why I stay the Hell out.

I lived in Boston for 4 years while attending college and I had lots of horrible anxiety and panic problems during that time. It was dark, and I don't like to remember it. (I wanna commission a huge billboard on the mass. turnpike with this quote and a photo of me looking out a window at a rainstorm.)

Joining the thread late to say that Y-Hat and indeed all New Yorkers can just gently caress right off, ok that's all I had also the Boston craft brew scene is the tits. It has spoiled me. I went to Vermont last weekend and was all psyched to try theirs because I'd heard really good things but it turns out that if you don't like IPAs Vermont in the summer has basically nothing for you. Except cider. Cider was good.

Has anyone mentioned sports yet, usually in threads where people talk poo poo about Boston someone mentions sports within like five posts but people are more attached to 60-year-old racism in this one Did you know that in the 1950s and 60s this place in America had a lot of racists in it?

The "luxury apartments" are already rolling in. JakeP posted:I am talking about the ones that are right on the pike, not the ones on exits. Um excuse me sir but you see, racism is very popular and people love to be very racist all the time so that other people identify them as racists and ruin their lives and reputations. Racism is the "norm", so to speak, but people who are brave and virtuous enough are speaking out against it these days. loquacius posted:Allston is gentrified-lite, as in it has tons of hipsters but they're all college students etc I do remember some pretty nice restaurants come to think of it.
