Encouraging to see some pushback from the media on all this nonsense, even if it's absurd what it took to get there.

The big question remains will they keep it up or is it back to false equivalence land by Monday.

It would also likely help Clinton since most Americans (well at least the ones who haven't already pledged their soul to Cheeto Benito) are not monsters and are capable of basic human empathy. Bringing attention to Bill's infidelity would only serve to humanize Hillary and garner sympathy for her, especially among women. Plus it makes Trump look like an absolute cad (well, moreso than he already does).

And, really, does anybody think she's not completely prepared to deal with that line of attack?

I also find the "too prepared" thing utterly hilarious... I mean... really... that's bad? how, exactly?

Hillary prepared for this so well that she had a pre-made website with sourced rebuttals that covered all the lies that Trump would tell on stage that she directed people to at the beginning of the debate.

And Trump felt the need to direct people to his website too! Where he had... nothing.

Donald Trump said on Friday that he would not necessarily accept the results of the presidential election in the event that Hillary Clinton defeats him, reversing his statement four days earlier that he would “absolutely” respect them.

After the first presidential debate on Monday, the Republican nominee told reporters “absolutely I would” honor the results of the election should he lose. In an interview with the New York Times on Friday, he backtracked: “We’re going to have to see. We’re going to see what happens. We’re going to have to see.”

Well *that* didn't last long.

It's 100% certain that they will be as, or more obstructive to Clinton as they were to Obama, but yeah, I can't see them ever wanting to talk about Trump or the election or anything related to Trump or the election ever again. The sooner he's forgotten, the better, so they can work hard on pretending it never happened in time for the midterms and the next presidential election.

It'll be interesting to see if they can manage to avoid another Trump-style takeover in 2020.
