I saw Manu Bennet at the SF Comic Con this Saturday. Was pretty fun, he was a last minute replacement for Kristen Ritter. He lead the group in a maori war dance and at the end he sang a Coldplay song on a piano.

The one thing that really stood out was his hatred of DC executives and the shafting he got with TV Deathstroke. The guy knew his stuff about comic Deathstroke and he explained how he really tried to bring that level of ambigious reserve to his character but the CW writers kept loving up his dialog. He mentioned how Moira's death was the point he felt the character was gone. "So, I'm a lady killer now" he said several times about the episode.

I really like the twist. Didn't see it coming and was pleasantly surprised that I could be surprised by this show.

Oliver will be back to his usual as soon as [insert villian] threatens the city and "only he can take him out"

Oliver started off on the losing moral side when he specifically called the guy to come in with his goons to attack a police convoy and kill a guy (not to mention the police escorts that would have been AK-47'd, thanks Mr. Mayor!).

This episode was grueling. I skipped over most of the cry talking.

I'm betting they go with Dinah flashbacks, since we only know the basics of her back story with her partner as a cop.

I'd hate to have a hacker team be the big bad of a season. It's already incredibly dull when they have a hacker vs hacker fight in the show already. Lights flashing, crazy screensavers, and suddenly sparks start flying from random desks just to force some hype at people pounding keyboards and shouting about "they are in the firewall!" or "on noes, they deployed a virus *lights flicker faster*"

This show does best when they stick to the practical effects.

gently caress that guy.

Well she is a model and actress but they seem to have a great and honest relationship.

Mosaic does have that taint on it now due to what happened to the writer so it might be next to impossible to find it because I don't see them ever reprinting it now. I think they even stopped putting out the digital issues on comixology after that all came out.

Geez, what happened to the writer?
