There was an update to that UPDATE #2: A source from inside Apple has contacted me and clarified a bit. iOS 10.0 is the version factory installed on new iPhone 7s. iOS 10.0.1 is the version that everyone will get next Tuesday. So 10.0.1 is in fact, a GM.
