Finished catching up all the way with Grand Blue Dreaming and it was loving hilarious. Though I'm not really sure how I feel about the incredibly heavy Iori x Chisa foreshadow shipping and some of the more subtle Aina x Kouhei. It really just doesn't mesh for me well as it feels wrong. Like it's the kind of obvious sell of "First/Firstish Girl Wins". The sort of addition of romance has actually kind of soured things for me a bit because of this.

D. Ebdrup posted:Someone elsewhere linked this slice of life series called 67% Inertia, and it seems extremely good, so I'm basically just passing on the recommendation. Take note of the adult tags, as it might be depending on where you're viewing this. I love that manga and rec it a lot. It's stupid college runchy fun and is good.

Brought To You By posted:New chapter of School Back and while it's not the main point of the chapter. I loathe how social media encourages people to just treat what is clearly something criminal as a spectator sport for their own amusement. It's a terrible permutation of the Bystander effect and you'd think with so many phones, someone would have called the cops or the station attendants but nope. Gotta watch some High Schooler stomp a mudhole in some pervert and put it up with a smarmy comment Yeah. Sad irony is that with the upsurge of media with gal/gyaru leads, that one would stood more of a chance.
