I'm all for using a knife unnecessarily to show how manly and badass I am but cutting an apple with a knife versus eating it with your mouth is like the difference between teledildonics and actual sex with a meat person. The only time you want to eat an apple with a knife is if you're like, the Amish Mafia and you're trying to intimidate somebody without getting out of your chair. "Fine apples, these. Near about the last ever did get harvested from Brother Stoltzfuss' orchard. Shame about that accident down the root cellar." *cuts a chunk of apple* "Lot of accidents happen around here. That's why ye need protection." *cuts a chunk of apple*

Today me and a few others used our pocketknives to remove a fuckload of packaging wrapped around a new crash boat we bought. It was in the middle of a shipyard, so no one had their tools nearby. Thanks for listening, I'm glad I can treat this as my pocketknife livejournal.

That's what I carry. Benchmade will replace any internals and sharpen the thing for only the cost to ship it to them, and I'm not even the original owner. As for why? Because I had to carry one every day when I did night stock, and got used to having it. Also, I don't really understand what the downside is to keeping a knife around?
