This is us waiting in line for 2 hours and then getting denied seats

This is us staring at the people who got seats and feeling salty bout it

This is us being rushed to the deck of the Intrepid to stare at a horrible, horrible rendition of the national anthem (the singer actually pulled the mic away from his face because of how badly he was hitting 'brave' as in 'home of the brave''). After this, they ran us back downstairs so we could wait in line for seats longer.

the circus

So finally they decided we were good enough at least for Rachel Maddow's bit afterwards and we got seats for that dumpster fire, including Paul Rieckhoff's highly punchable face front and center. Sadly he wasn't wearing his bronze star and SF unit patch.

Anyway, we watched the entire forum on a big fuckin' TV while waiting for the Rachel Maddow bit. They had chairs set up for the interviews, and then in order to check the camera angles they made these two smokin' hot staffers sit in the chairs so we could ogle them (or take pictures like a fuckin' creep).

Anyway, after leaving with a buddy, a NYTimes reporter ran up to get our take on how this event might have changed our opinion(s) on the candidates, and he seemed pretty sad when we said it didn't change a drat thing for obvious reasons.

Then he said he was looking for pro-Trump veterans :downs:

We got drunk in a bar 2 blocks over and called it a night.
