I have one of these numbers that connects my laptops to some monitors and peripherals:  My servers and such exist as VPS's because i am a future man from the far flung year of 2016.

Laptops will keep getting thinner and more powerful from the perspective of the average user because everything resource intense will be done by a computer somewhere else
