Why play Alexis up front when the first 3 matches of the season showed he doesn't work there and 2 actual, real forward are available? Why have Ox suit up in anything but the Gunnersaurus outfit?

It's so much better to just concede the goal from your error than to do something stupid and go down to 10 men. Getting sent off almost assuredly means your team is suddenly playing for the draw at best, whereas you at least have a chance at a comeback with all 11 players on the field.
