The issue with webms, and this may have been changed since the last time I encountered it, is that if you have too many, it can really strain some computers. Though, like I said, I think it may have been changed so that webms don't autoplay anymore, which would solve it.

Manage separate files through Audacity. I know that's not what you want to hear, but there's only so much you can do with full audio chat recordings. Getting separate recordings for each commentator is common practice, and not even that hard to work with.

Back in the wild west of the late 2000s early 10s, there was a lot more of this stuff because SA was seen as kind of the premiere place for LP and to be ~internet famous~ but then LP became more popular on Youtube and monetization came along and then Twitch and now LP's more chill. It also didn't help that the early LP forum had like the biggest stick up its rear end until like 2013 or so.

I read a little bit of the original out of morbid curiosity a few years ago and my favorite thing about the MLP fandom is how the show introduced a zebra character as an analogue for not judging people based on their appearance, and the bronies loved to have zebra pony race wars in their fanfic.

Need some opinions on image sizes. The top image is at the same resolution as my capture footage and the bottom is resized down a bit. Is the top too large or could I get away with that size?

The only reason I'm doing emotion portraits in Sakura Wars is that it's piss easy for me to crop them with an Irfanview preset since they're all in the same place on the screen. Even then, I kinda wish I hadn't it's a big pain in the rear end.

Doing some prelim work for a new LP and just need an opinion on portraits. The game doesn't really have sprite rips, so I'll probably be ripping them out from the screenshots myself for portraits. I just want to see how the resizing feels. This is the sprite as extracted from the screenshot I took for a test at my gameplay resolution. Bit big, right? This is me resizing the sprite at about half of the size. It doesn't feel quite as sharp as the raw extract, but the size feels a lot better to me.

So I had another run at Chroma Squad image settings, and this time I decided to lower the game resolution to 720. This results in screenshots like this:  And portraits like this with no need to resize.But I worry that the screenshots are a bit big and it's kinda awkward to size down without messing up the text or making it very small. The next smallest resolutions available are extremely tiny and I'm not going to play like that.

So I tried a quick 1080p recording and did the 1152x648 resize and came out with this  Which also gives me portraits of this size!I think that's the ticket.

I'm gonna be honest, that's just how the text is. I'm running the game at the highest resolution it'll go. It looks like that in the raw screenshot. That particular font they use for the smaller text is just not great. Like, it's so thin that it's hard to retain the overall crispness and also make the font look good. E: I think this works?

Yeah, I had been experimenting with resamples myself, and I think the pretty slight drop in crispness is a price I'll have to pay. I think it helps that the sprites use a lot of just solid colors without a whole lot of shading, which doesn't make the artifacting as bad as it could be with pixel art.
