Heya, been working on my first LP ever for Monster Hunter World and thought I'd post it in here for you guys to nitpick. If there are no complaints, I'll be posting it later today/tomorrow-ish. OP Episode 1 I know there's a couple of hiccups in the video, but I'm not gonna re-record the tutorial for a couple of blips. Also, I will be going back to the equipment stats and inventory SSLP posts to tidy them up and standardise the sizes of the images, along with grabbing the palico gear that I forgot to get the stats for.

Given that we've had good LPs of CYOA books and boardgames I'm pretty sure anything can be LPed well as long as you put some effort into it.

My regret for my old MHW LP was that I never got a co-host who I could bounce off, because I do not talk to myself very well it turns out. I'll see what I end up regretting on my current SSLP.

I will say that there is a case for lots of different lines if you think that there are natural breaks in the dialogue where a line break would be. Of course, I might be the only person who interprets line breaks this way, so Give it a read yourself and see where the flow tells you to put line breaks.

Oh nice, someone else stepping up to the ZTD plate. I think the images are a bit blurry for me on desktop, might want to double check the recording quality on your end (unless the game was blurry too, it's been years since I played it). No real complaints otherwise, the gifs are good quality too.

Good luck, I'd like to see others to see the story, even if the early few chapters/events have a bit of a sketchy TL. I do know some of the people who currently do the TLs and took over sometime after launch (around chapter 6 or so?), so if you have anything you want to ask I might be able to pull some strings. Also I generally enjoy your analysis of the story even if I don't always agree so I'm looking forward to that too.

Once you get around to the bits of the game where they get better about putting in multiple facial expressions, have you got a handy system to do that on the LP end or will you just be ignoring it?

Having lived through the heydays of both 04-07 RS and modern RS, I think it's safe to say that most people don't care about how you grind outside of a line or two unless it's a very interesting way to grind.

Yeah, I'm aware of the one actual successful AA LP. It's just that with this one as a blind LP, there's no guarantee that we'll get to AA 2. If DKII was starting from AA 2 then I wouldn't worry, but they're not so yeah.

drat. I didn't join the forums for his LPs, but I definitely found them some of the most memorable, and I followed along with every new one he posted up until Shadow Hearts (2?). Farewell to a real one. Enjoy the other side.
