One of my neighbours love vacuuming around 10:30pm every other night. Each time I walked by the hall way to take out the trash I get kind of confused. Until one time they weren't vacuuming and I heard lots of moaning, Japanese porn style, each shallow thrust follows with a short high pitch squeal. I just smirked and left them alone, feeling kind of turned on and embarrassed at the same time. As I opened my door and being a goon with no shame, I told my wife "HEY HONEY I KNOW WHY THEY VACUUM EVERY NIGHT, COME LISTEN!!". She gave me a "whatever" uninterested look. So yeah, the sound insulation is really bad for everyone's front door and all the neighbors heard me. Bajaj posted:It's almost midnight here on the Mainland. One time there was a young couple screaming outside the door way and having a big argument, I was just listening in and peeping through the keyhole, I wish I had an internet cam and recorded them. I said, "Hey honey these people are fighting outside, holy smokes, you want to listen in?" The couple felt really awkward and scurried back inside the house. I felt bad and wish I handled it better, like domestic abuse "Are you ok? If you don't feel safe, do you have anywhere to go?" - That's what I should have said instead of being a lovely nosy gossipy neighbor. I still feel a little guilty to this day

When I was at the British museum there were floods of tour buses coming in but interesting enough the everyone had awesome ear buds and the tour guide was doing the tour through a head set. Which is really cool but you still get your country bumpkin nongs from time to time messing things up and the fat American type tourist (rare)

It’s not racist apoligism because hey, he’s a minority that grew up with lovely racism. Since he thinks the world isn’t fair anyways, everyone should just roll with the punches and not be so overly sensitive! I guess this line of thinking is one way to internalize racism and avoiding the need to deal with it I really don’t have to deal this kind of garbage as much as before now that I’m living in east Asia. I think that’s one of the few saving graces for me.
