I was on the train looking at Wechat when I felt someone poke the middle of my back. I ignored it. It happened again. His lips were so cracked and dry from not drinking water that they were split and bloody, and I felt like it was a bio-hazard to be standing so close to him. I turned around and ignored him.

About 30 seconds later I got a few more pokes and heard some mumbling, so I turn around again. He's pointing his QR code at me still and says "Add friend." I say "WHAT???" and he immediately reaches down and grabs my unaware hand and starts shaking it vigorously while saying "Friend." Goons, I will be honest. This hand was the slimiest, greasiest, most hair-raisingly gross hand I have ever touched. It was like it was shaking hands with the personified deity of Gutter Oil.
I was so caught off guard and grossed out that my reaction was "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYY," and I violently wiped my hand on my pants. He's still pointing his phone at me and says again to add him, so I held my now-diseased hand up and said "No no no no, not today." He looked really confused. "Add friend?" "No, I'm not into it."
He had no idea how to process the rejection. He looked crushed, but my hand was making me ill and I had no interest in talking to a kid. I turned around and ignored him until I got off the train. He'll probably spend the rest of his life talking poo poo about foreigners for making him lose face. RIP.

Hah, well I did listen to it without sound. Oh well, still can't understand how someone can fight their instinct at that height and just parade around with death. Just looking at videos of that stuff makes me go NOPE without even a second thought.
