If you don't take its politics seriously everything up to Season 9 is a lot of fun. But it's been really sort of middling since.

season 4 and 5 were fine. i think it was just 2 and 3 where they got other writers involved e: yup it was just season 2

The Death of Eric Cartman is great. Has a good song and talks about KFC chicken skin. Keeping it real.

Yeah the one-week production schedule for each episode never made sense to me. Some of their best episodes respond to breaking events but most of them don't.
