It's not often a show can go into a downward spiral and then make a full recovery. No way, season 5 was the peak of South Park. That was back when they still came up with original ideas and put a little effort into each episode, before Trey realized he could just take a few days to poo poo out a one-joke parody of whatever was just in the news every week while using the same voice for every character.
