If you don't have time to micro manage the provisioning of your internet connection then you don't have time to get an internet connection. There is really no way around it. I suggest working in the ISP industry for a couple of years so you can do it with maximum efficiency. Once you've got the experience and lingo down it doesn't take too much work. I think there may be potential for a service dedicated to getting people's net fixed/navigating the bullshit process. OP, would you pay $250 to have this issue fixed?
