They're all funny, Zooey included, and despite her being the protagonist it became an ensemble show pretty quickly (to the point that they replaced the opening titles.) "It's a Crossover! It's a Crossover SUV and you can't have it!" Nice way to work in a plug I gotta say.

I really thought I'd hate both crossovers, but it ended up being only one scene in 99 and the crossover stuff in New Girl actually worked really well. The 99 characters that appeared in New Girl seemed like the same kind of kooks that regularly show up in that show.

The crossover scenes in New Girl were actually funnier than the scenes in B99. I don't know if it was a different, or extended version of the scene in New Girl- but the part where Jake tries to get the car that Jess is in she says: "If you want to get into this car you're going to have to commandeer this rear end" or something like that. Which I couldn't stop laughing at.

In defiance of Jake's lesson that you can't put things back the way they were, I started rewatching from season 1. Despite not having the three seasons of relationship development it's still pretty strong. I forgot about the weird Boyle/Diaz plot, but that's the only issue I'm having.
