You are coming down with me, hand in unlovable hand.

And I hope you die.

I hope we both die.

Last Season:

Schmidt and CeCe got married

Jess was sequestered, got better

Winston is dating a fellow cop

Nick fell for Reagan, Jess encouraged her to try and make it work despite still having feelings for him

Jess got stoned

I think that's it.

I am almost sure this woman is actually related to Nasim Pedrad. It's uncanny.

Well the funniest part of the episode was Winston's cooky shirt.

No, and everyone else did too except for the OP

I'm still watching! Thanks OP. This opening felt last season. If not this one, next.

Predictions:
Jess and Nick go traveling together, CC and SHMT live domestically, Winston and Ferguson stay in the loft alone forever until Coach returns and is like sup and they goof around on the couch. If you catch my drifty drift.

I was not aware that there had been a backlash. It's still a pretty funny show.

Jess lifting the fridge was a nice gag. The premiere could have been a bit more exciting but there were a lot of good bits like that.

It's a piece of JUNK!
I'm finally all caught up on this season (had to figure out how to link a new DirecTV account to the Fox website) and I'm loving it. Several laugh-out-loud moments in almost every episode, especially the last one. I loved Nick's salt-of-the-earth-working-man conversation (as lovingly transcribed by the AV Club):

“That’s a nice grain.”
“Great grain.”
“Gotta cut with the grain.”
“Always.”
“Watch the fingers.”
“It’s a livin’.”
“Get the hands dirty.”
“Eh, y’know, early bird gets the worm.”
“Clean ya jeans.”
“Ask ‘er what time it is, she’ll tell you to build a watch.”

Also Schmidt's line about busting his balls so hard his scrotum is full of whipped cream.

So far I feel this season is shaping up to be better than the last few, and those were pretty good too. Pretty impressive for a 6th-season sitcom that just had one of its main couples get married.

This show has been pretty solid this season, but I was most excited that we got to see a classic Winston-Cece mess-around during this episode.

Maybe he was just a triple-enterer.

Jess & Robbie being distantly related was a surprisingly plausible way to wrap up that storyline without doing something totally contrived. And it also provides more fuel for the looming possibility of Nick/Jess phase 2, again in a very plausible way.

My favourite part was Jess starting her first day as principal either still drunk or at least extremely hungover from staying up all night drinking in a cellar and they didn't make a bit out of it.
