The first thing that springs into my mind when someone says gold Lugers is RE: Code Veronica. Anyway the SAS didn't exist until 1941, weren't called that until a couple of years later and it would be fairly unlikely to have golden guns with their motto emblazoned on it at that time. Or ever really.

Yeah, the upbeat ending into the unusually sombre ED does not bode well. Also I'm the last person to complain about fanservice but 'comedy groping' should die in hell.
