I am watching, and yes FC Dallas will win their CCL group with a win or draw in their final match at Suchitepéquez (Guatemala). They weren't able to put it away at home this week, despite having like 25 shots or something ridiculous like that. e: wow I guess CCL chat really gets the thread goin

Hairston just made Portland's backline look silly. e: This ref is probably going to have tennis elbow from handing out so many yellow cards. whypick1 fucked around with this message at 04:00 on Oct 2, 2016 |

Only complaint for FCD tonight: really stupid yellow card near the end for milking the clock, gonna be down Figueroa next week because of it. Still, worst we can do now is #2. Reeeeeally want that shield, though.

Shinjobi posted:Still, worst we can do now is #2. Reeeeeally want that shield, though. Uh, both NYs (57 max) and Colorado (63 max) can overtake you. Realistically though only Colorado has a good chance of doing so, especially since they play all the teams below the red line whereas you guys have Seattle and @LA with your CCL trip sandwiched in there.

SJ-RSL has been surprisingly entertaining. Bingham just saved a for-sure goal, this after letting one in because it bounced off his back.

And Rimando just pushed a header into goal (which might have been going in anyway). This is probably not a game you want to show as a teaching tool for aspiring keepers.

DC fans be honest, you thought we were gonna blow that lead didn't you? Coming back to win feels good, also it's really good to have dax back.

That game was so wide open and sloppy (and dreadfully entertaining!) that any result was possible. And in the end, y'all finally hanging on means we may dodge each other until the Eastern Final, which would be incredible and the way the East SHOULD be. We have history to consider here.

The MLS Live historical compilations of cool moments are actually kind of great. Right now they're doing a compilations of insanely stupid MLS misses, like 3-5 hit combos of saves, defender clearances, off the post stupidity. This league can be great fun solely BECAUSE people aren't good.
