Love the movie and I enjoyed this. Even if it was a bit silly that she explicitly says that she remembers everything yet somehow forgets that her mom has been missing for 20 years

The way I took the timeline to work in the show is that the two eras (1996 and 2016) are occurring concurrently. So since her mom hadn't yet disappeared in the 1996 timeline, she couldn't remember it happening yet.

I really love the movie, and this was a pretty good watch. I definitely bought into the father/daughter relationship.

I guess I kinda get that...but then the question is, where does the history that she DOES remember come from? Something has to happen in those 20 years, and her mom disappearing seems to be a direct result of her changing the past, which is what also causes all her new memories to appear. Eh...maybe I shouldn't think about it too hard.
