Lamont posted:I guess I kinda get that...but then the question is, where does the history that she DOES remember come from? Something has to happen in those 20 years, and her mom disappearing seems to be a direct result of her changing the past, which is what also causes all her new memories to appear. Eh...maybe I shouldn't think about it too hard. It seemed like the rules are something like this: 1) She can remember all of the original timeline 2) She can remember things as they "happen" concurrently, exactly 20 years ago 3) She can remember things when people in the current, changed timeline mention them, like her dad dying in the car crash or her mom being murdered by the nightingale killer

AbstractNapper posted:I really liked the movie; I still rewatch it every couple of years or so. Well, clearly this season's arc is "catch the killer before he murders Mom" but who knows what they could use as a later season hook, probably that changing that event causes something else catastrophic to happen? The only thing I don't think would happen would be that changing any events causes anything to happen to Raimy, since that would cripple the concept of the show.

I actually did just think of a season hook idea -after solving the mystery and saving her parents, she gets a transmission from 20 years in the future from someone who's trying to save her from being murdered.
