It looked like it was auditory hallucinations, which would fit her musical theme. But she also seemed to be stronger and more damage resistant than scarf girl, but that could just be a competence thing.

Given the title of the next episode, I'm hoping that Swimswim kills Cranberry, and the "server maintenance" is Fav panicking while he tries to work out what to do now his accomplice is dead. Mainly because it would support my favourite ship: Swimswim x A throne of skulls from which she will rule over the ashes of this world.
