What is the role of Weapon and spell penetration? How is it tactially different from crit?

The other problem is that the mindset from the combat team is that: A) Style is more important than actual substance, meaning that they'll implement something that "looks cool" without giving any thought to balancing; and B) Wrobel himself has said that their aim is for players to be able to pick up the game and instantly be good at it without actually having to learn the nuances of their specific choices in race, class, playstyle. This explains why there's an increasing amount of proc sets in the game. In what circumstances do I want pen over crit?

Do boss monsters have "armor" as such? Do they deal crit damage? When do I want weapon damage stat over crit or penetration?

is there any sense to why some pubblies don't like spamming wrecking blow and snipe? A build-up attack against a single target seems like the ideal against a boss.

Scyantific posted:50% higher stats than those other 3 pieces, so yes. Though, if you can afford it/got the patience for it, Infallible/Vicious Ophidian/Moondancer/Alkosh jewelry alone is better for PvE simply because of the Minor Slayer buff. How do i git gud at interpreting stats?

There are a lot of sets, food and drink, and glyphs that increase all three stats or all three regens. Theres also the food and drink that increases mag and stam. Unless you are a pvp magika user who wants to use some stam to roll dodge, are these of any use? Do stam users tend to put one or two magic abilities?

PvE tanks tend to need resources from both pools, and thus stack both magicka and stamina to some degree whilst keeping their health total high. And as you mentioned, plenty of PvP builds make use of both resource pools. Why does a stamtank want magic?
