There is no way the Clinton campaign hasn't been prepping Kaine to dominate this just like Hillary did last week. Pence has a shitload of bad positions for Kaine to hammer home, in addition to the liabilities of the Trump campaign. I'm quoting someone from the Trump thread but: 'Trump's scandals would sink any normal politician, and Mike Pence is that normal politician'.

Watching an actual almost-human defend Trump will be wonderful, even if only to see the look of doomed resignation in his eyes Will this be as severe a beating? Possibly, but I don't want to get my hopes up. Without the easily manipulated narcissisism it could just be a boring series of lies. If i was stage manager I would make sure there was at least a few seconds of mic issues.

Has there been any hint one way of the other how the campaigns have prepared for this debate? I'd want to give the advantage to Kaine assuming both candidates are equally prepared, because Kaine will have a much easier time attacking Trump and defending Clinton than Pence will the opposite, plus the general climate of Trump on a legendarily bad downswing.
