The Clinton campaign now has 90 minutes of Pence denying all of the poo poo that Trump has said over the last year, and thus an excellent reason to rerun all of the Trump classics. In addition, now they get to overlay Pence shaking his head sadly to all of the video of Trump saying weird poo poo. Kaine had memorized all of the classic Trump quotes and had them down pat, and I think his objective was to inject them into the debate as frequently and aggressively as possible. Interrupt if necessary. The conversation of Twitter pundits is already shifting from "Pence won" to all of the denying reality Pence had to do, and how he didn't really stick up for Trump.
