Man, ISSTH was so close to getting back on its feet and at least being something I at least wanted to see progress, but it just completely stumbled.

I would be fine with the whole revenge thing if it was more involved than "Meng Hao waves his hand" Like, the buildup for this has been what feels like hundreds of chapters long and then all the tension is just... gone.

I'm a big fan of Book Girl myself, even if it does feel a bit soap operaish at times. You can consider that part of the charm.
