A big flaming stink posted:Not going to get into Yayaka right now since I could probably write an entire page on her alone this episode. I'm sensing a strong feeling of betrayal from Yayaka, like she feels that what's happening with Cocona was supposed to happen with her, and not this stranger. She was physically hostile with Papika, but she tried to get Cocona to join her even as she acted cold towards her.

Despite the serious subject and somber tone of the episode, I wouldn't go so far as to call it dark, especially considering the way it ended. This was the 'realest' thing Pure Illusion has put them through, in that it put them in a real world setting instead of a fantastic one, and that ended up making it the most frightening and challenging one for them to deal with. They haven't given Papika a replacement hoverboard. Maybe they decided not to when they found out how she lost the old one. Yayaka was amazing in this episode. It would have been really easy for them to just push her aside or even get rid of her after the last couple of episodes, so I'm really happy that the opposite is happening. I noticed that Salt's dad and Cocona's robot grandmother looked very similar to each other, like they based her design off of him.

I'm going to miss seeing that ending every week. The only complaint I can really make about the show is that Nyunyu didn't really end up doing much, and I would have liked to have seen more of her and the twins. Otherwise, Flip Flappers succeeded at everything it set out to do wonderfully. At least she did this. https://my.mixtape.moe/fyssml.webm
