That game is gonna be good. If Sherman is on the decline, I can't wait to see a running back completely destroy him in coverage.

Wait, what'd he do?

edit:

Oh, he forced 2 turnovers in the final 2 minutes of the 4th quarter. I thought maybe he took Wentz's head off on a corner blitz or something, the way you phrased that.

NFC DPotW in your bill might be Slay, but it's totally-not-a-bust Vic Beasley in your hearts for a 3.5 sack performance against Denver.

I don't get what Cousins has to do to shake his bad rep with some local fans (I don't expect non local fans to ever think of him as anything better than laughable).

So far this year the Redskins are 5th in yards per play and 11th in total offense. Cousins has won 5 straight road games dating back to last season, a feat the Redskins haven't accomplished since 1991. That stretch includes 3 division road games. His QB rating is 90.5, higher than Rodgers, Palmer and Cam. His completion percentage is 67.2 and its higher than Brees, Roethlisberger, and Wilson.

He's obviously not perfect but I'm so tired of the old narrative on him. Some people act like QBs grow on trees and his production would be easy to replace. I think at least 10, maybe 15, NFL teams would like to have him. I for one am not ready to go back into the wildernesss to look for another QB. People forget we started seasons with John loving Beck, Rex Grossman, the corpse of McNabb, etc. recently. I just don't get the impatience. If the Skins were converting in the Red Zone, Cousins would be having a season to rival his last.

I ask because of your avatar, but are you a 'noles and redskins fan?

How incumbent is it on a quarterback to change protections? Is there a way I can blame Tannehill for the clear path sacks?

It's incumbent on them if their center is a rookie or not very good. Neither of which describe Pouncey.

Based on everything that's happened this season so far...why?

Because Teddy is the future of that Franchise and Bradford's value will be high after this season. If he's still under contract, he'll have extremely high trade value to a QB-needy team.

Keeping and starting Bradford would probably ruin Teddy; because his ego and confidence would shatter like Tony Romo's collar bone.
