the community in the beta is pretty chill. some dude curb stomped me as a warden in a duel and gave me tips how to get better with my warden game.

the revenge system could use some work. evening a 2v1 to 2v2 shouldnt give the dude im targeting more revenge.

haha apparently the geysers will instantly kill you if you're standing on them when they explode. just won a duel that way.

i had fun in the beta but i might wait for a sale to buy it full price. i hope this doesn't have the problem that siege has where the new characters every season are just straight up better than the originals for a few weeks.

i hated every chapter that didn't let you play as a warden, which is 2/3 of'em. it probably didn't help that i was playing realistic so i had no loving clue what way any attacks were coming non beta characters/orochis.

Top light attack works fantastically also in case you don't know, a warden has 2 overhead parrys, if you light attack instead of heavy attacking to parry you'll do a very powerful counterattack. like heavy overhead levels of damage in half a second. punish people throwing heavy top attacks at you with it.

i have no idea how to punish nobuishi as a warden. i can't hit them with anything after a parry because they're to far away and then they just stab me.

if you play a few hours every week inbetween seasons you'll probably be able to afford all the free characters when they're released if if its anything like siege.

just played my first duel after not playing since like 2 months after release, and got stomped the first round, but was able to eke out the next 3 fights for a win and the dude rage quit at the end.
