My mom asked us a bunch of times when my sister and I were kids if anybody was touching us. Nobody ever had, thank god, but when I asked why she asked us so much she said she had been "fiddled with" as a girl. Never expanded on it, hasn't brought it up again in 30 years, but it still crushes me.
