The overlay thing for the tweets was something I only thought of doing on Monday afternoon and I was kinda anxious how it would get received. I'm glad people are liking it. Even though I missed a few goofs with layering/colors, but shhh.

It's not the studio that's awful, it's the Producers. And if you remember, the Producers in Shirobako were pretty terrible people as well.

Haha you're right, I haven't figured out all the roles just yet. The studio does feel very just..."ugh let's just..let's just do this I guess.." in comparison to MusoAni though. I am wondering if the Kansai VA girl will bring anything up about how bad the show came out to the staff. She is an anime fan and it drove her to drink. Angrily drink.

I can't think of a garbage character that I liked more other than Tomoko Kuroki. Chitose is flawed, in an obvious, comic, and human manner, and in one that I honestly can't think of enough in most animu.

Snafu is great, so far my favorite of the romantic comedies I've seen. Its viewpoint character is cynical as hell but the show's own perspective isn't at all, which is a pretty effective combination that allows it to have a lot of heart.

So if this and Shirobako are any indication as to how well authorial intent is carried over to adaptations in Japan, I'm totally not surprised at how poorly things like books and comics are handled when adapted to film here in the west.
