 The new remake has its moments but isn't an instant classic like the first one and none of the fight scenes hold a candle to Robocop Vs Robocain from the second one.

Robocop 2 is an insane mess of a movie thats wildly incoherent and full of plot threads that go nowhere but stands as a collection of amazing scenes on their own the are greater than their collective sum. We do not speak of the 3rd film or that crazy cheap 8 hour quadrilogy of tv movies.

I'm 30 and haven't watched robocop, any of the rocky movies, any rambo movies after the first, no terminator movie, no lethal weapon, and only watched die hard for the first time 2 years ago At this point I feel I can't even watch them anymore since they're propably super old and dumb to my refined 201x palette For example I think back to the future and ghost busters both sucked when I watched them for the first time at 25, too cheesy
