It is pretty great and used its time well, it felt way too short and I got needlessly irritated at the part with the cute dictionaries because of it. Its depiction of a kind of old school manliness reminds me a lot of Satoshi Kon, it is only lacking a middle aged detective hitting crumpled cigarettes out of the pack while longing for his youth.
