Buster was particularly condescending in some episodes. If anything, I almost felt like Binky was a good guy, and we were seeing the show from the perspective of the real bullies; Buster and Arthur.

In the mid-00's my roommates and I would get high, drunk or what have you, and deconstruct a lot of stuff on TV. That short-lived Boohbah show was something else when tripping balls FYI.

That show was way too pussified by them not wanting to do anything that wasn't too family friendly. It meant they could never tackle any real issues, like the bully thing. It was the ultimate PBS show, and I always hated it because of that.

I remember one where there was a fire at the school and i think it was a multipart episode and Binky gets PTSD bad from seeing the janitor put out the fire.

Arthur was a good show in the 90s

the more recent eps are bad that's when they changed to flash information and made every episode introducing a new character to teach us a lesson about diversity. oh there's a blind kid now, we have to respect blind kids, oh there's an autistic kid now we have to respect autistic kids, oh there's a kid with AIDS now we have to respect kids with AIDS

I still watch the new eps occasionally if I see it while flipping channels (I only get OTA channels so I only have like 6 channels)
