I'm legitimately amazed the puck moves at all. Whenever the ice is still wet after a Zamboni resurfacing, the ice stops dead when it hits a puddle.

If I was paying attention properly, the OT went all 5 minutes without a whistle. Always fun. Then 9 rounds of a shootout. 2 amazing saves in regulation from Korpisalo, Hannikainen undressed CHI's goalie in the shootout, and Bjorkstrand for the win. A fun night of hockey to get paid to watch.

Apparently it is now official that the Albany Devils will be moving to Binghamton. I've seen people complaining that going from the city with the lowest attendance to the city with the second lowest attendance is dumb, but Albany's arena holds almost twice as many people as Binghamton's does. Albany County also has like 100k more people than Broome County. Oh well gently caress the Devils anyway

Be glad you can even watch them on TV. Milwaukee only gets replays from games after about a week and and they're usually only on at 10am. Also Milwaukee apparently has no issues handling elite goalies as they currently lead Jimmy Howard and the Griffins 5-3.

Why not just get AHL Live! that costs more than NHL Game Center, and you only get 1 team, and it is literally just the arena feed, and only like 3 teams have HD cameras

They only started putting the score on the board this season, and only display the time on televised games and the game before televised games where they are testing to make sure it works. AHL live is totally a rip off. WBS is weird. For the first half of the season they had trouble with the Phantoms, then tonight they beat them 7-1 at home. (Their 1 goal was a gifted 5 on 3 PP.) But then they have trouble with team like St John's who aren't right on their rear end in the standings.

I have a feeling the AHL doesn't allow replays on penalties because they don't play them anywhere. Tom Kostopoulos scored his 200th career AHL goal last night to tie the game against the Hershey Bears. Pens won in overtime right after killing off a penalty. That was nail biting to exciting.
