Oh yeah, forgot to mention that this year the AHL instituted a new rule saying players will be suspended if they get into too many fights. After player accrues ten fighting penalties this season, they'll be subject to a one game suspension for each fight thereafter (so the 11th one would be the first suspension).

Milwaukee finally loses a game (gently caress the shootout), 3-2 to Rockford. Would have been nice if Nashville hadn't called up half the team, but it was for a good cause (gently caress the Pens).

Be glad you can even watch them on TV. Milwaukee only gets replays from games after about a week and and they're usually only on at 10am. Also Milwaukee apparently has no issues handling elite goalies as they currently lead Jimmy Howard and the Griffins 5-3.

Pekka Rinne played two games for Milwaukee a couple seasons ago on a conditioning assignment and I sure as gently caress made sure I got to see him play.

As was rumoured for a while, Vegas has signed an afilliation agreement with the Chicago Wolves. The Blues will still send their players to Chicago, but won't have any input on development. Good job, St. Louis.
