The Legend
My buddy got a Fire TV to replace his Acer Revo that was used to do nothing but run Kodi. I pointed him towards the Amazon device since they didn't have any streaming services before, and this seemed like the easiest way to do it.

So I got Kodi installed and tried to browse the shares from his Win7 Pro server, but it will not connect. So I'm looking at using Emby as a replacement. Has anyone here used it? Looking for pros/cons versus Kodi, and what exactly "premier" would give him that he doesn't have now.
