Jack Chick died aged 91

There are three types of people in Jack Chick's world:
  1. Good Christians, who follow his exact brand of Christianity.
  2. Evil Christians, who know that his exact brand of Christianity is true but refuse to follow it for some reason?
  3. People who will literally believe anything they're told. Whether they go to heaven or hell depends on whether a good or evil Christian gets to them first.

Well, it must be difficult to come up with stuff on the regular.

Those are reruns. It finished ages ago. And it is clever, but it grows on you. It doesn't work nearly as well if you just read a few random ones.

I legitimately thought The Creeps was a newspaper comic.

I don't know if it was ever in any actual newspapers, but it's published by Andrews McMeel Universal, which is the parent company of Universal Uclick, the syndicate that puts out stuff like Garfield and Ziggy.

Marvel's solution to the "we have too many lovely characters made by idiots in the 60's" problem was to have a serial killer shoot them all. It was great.

Did they not realise that they could just stop writing about them? That it's only their own dumb rules requiring them to have every currently-alive character inhabit the same stupid universe?

To be fair, she used to beat him as well. And they both got into brawls with other people.

I don't think he does any more, actually. The characters are toned way down in the modern version.

Loucks posted:

I haven’t read a paper that carries Andy Capp in a long time, but as I recall she was usually waiting to ambush him with a rolling pin or some such and tended to gently caress him up pretty well when they fought. Wasn’t the joke more that he was a totally worthless drunk and she was always justifiably pissed off about it?
They were both terrible. He was a violent, womanising drunk. She was a violent, spiteful gambler. He was worse than her in basically every way, but it wasn't all one-sided. These days they're not so violent any more, Andy's more lazy than alcoholic and his attempts at picking up other women are treated as hopelessly inept (whereas he used to be quite successful), and Flo doesn't gamble any more. I like the old strips. They're terrible people, but that's intentional. The modern ones are just a bland, unfunny version of the Lockhorns.

I like her comics and even watch her streams occasionally, but it's weird how every time she posts a comic it's a race whether I see it on her actual feed first, or on some uncredited repost on Imgur where "YE" is invariably in the top 10 comments.
What does "YE" mean? And does she have an actual website? Where is one is supposed to find her comics?
