well why not posted:Like 12 movies in and I still don't know what he wants. I get that the stones are powerful, but what are they for? Does he hate Asgard or something? It's not really tangible what his goals are. In his very first appearance one of his henchmen says "to attack earth is to court death" and Thanos smiles. That is his motivation. He loves Death.
