It's a hard sell. NFL is pretty niche here and they are both big time Rugby fans. They just don't get what they interpret as the stop start nature of the game and they are struggling to follow the play and what is happening despite my best efforts. And tbf I've only just got back into NFL after not really following it since mid 80s so I'm no expert
