I've been meaning to go with SP but then I read their website and their news ticker is talking about leaving the loving union and whining about Rutte doing one good thing in his life and overturning Putin/Wilder's Ukraine referendum. gently caress this poo poo, I'm voting for the lizard people at D66.

A good overview of everybody's economic positions but it glosses over international policy, which is the main reason why I'm not voting for SP or PvdD. Both are anti-europe and a left wing nexit will not be any less catastrophic than a right wing one under Wilders, socialists being russophiles on top of that and the animal party supports all kinds of woo like being antivax.

I've had the misfortune of having been around a lot of antivaxxers, this is straight up "as a mommy I know what's best/MAH SOVEREIGNTY" antivaxxery. It's "I'm not racist, I just look at crime statistics and there's definitely a correlation between browns and crime" but for killing one's own children first.

PVDD's veneer of sanity is quite thin. The fact that they were willing to entertain chemtrails to begin with should clue people in to that.
True leftists should keep voting SP who are at least grounded in reality and not a facade for a creepy cult.

If you don't mind the Putin fanboyism, yeah. Remember which side of the Wilders waving his(and Putin's) dick in Ukraine's face referendum they were on. SP are good people for city councils but please do not let them anywhere near foreign policy.

The way I see it, further fragmentation of the union will only lead to more eastern countries getting crimea'd and from personal experience I know that while they appear leftist in their larval stage, alt med/anti vax/"spiritual" nuts will happily horsehoe theory themselves over to the right through a process of healing crystals=>big pharma=>banksters=>jewish bankers=>sieg heil and can not be relied upon to actually stay left when they're actually needed the most.

We can put the neoliberals up against the wall when this is over, we can't do the same with little green men.

They've always been lax about expressing the "social" part of social democrats but that never seemed to harm them that much. They actually took a slightly stronger stand agains the VVD in the last elections and shot up to #2 party. Come formation season however, Samsom announced that what the Netherlands needed was unity and so he abandoned literally his entire program and joined the VVD coalition as junior partner, forming a neoliberal cabinet in record time. So now labour is getting annihilated because all their closet neoliberals have finally realized they could cut out the middle man and just vote for the VVD directly while the party's more socialist leaning followers have been scattered to the wind by this bait and switch.
