frankenfreak posted:VVD should be required to mark this proposal as a foreign import. Germany's minister of agriculture has brought up this idea a week ago. Original Dutch idea, do not steal. Of course it is a 4 year old idea that already was brought to court and failed, several times. It was the PVV* who first brought the case. No one is buying more expensive ersatz meat products expecting to get the real thing. *=Not that PVV, Productschap Vee en Vlees.

the Pvdd wanted parliament to investigate chemtrails until 4 months ago and still believes the weather is currently being influenced by climate engineering.

9-Volt Assault posted:No, they just had a line that came down to "there is no prove chemtrails exist" because people kept talking about it, but it's gone now. quote:Er is wel sprake van Climate Engineering, chemische stoffen die in de lucht gebracht worden om het weer te beïnvloeden. Zie hier voor meer informatie. Ok, chemtrails aren't real. But let me tell you about these CHEMICALS that are used for climate engineering. *links to a site that discusses theoretical use of climate and geo engineering*. PVDD's veneer of sanity is quite thin. The fact that they were willing to entertain chemtrails to begin with should clue people in to that. True leftists should keep voting SP who are at least grounded in reality and not a facade for a creepy cult.

The guy on the left seems to have realised what a PR disaster this is and is facepalming. Also interesting combination of nazi salutes and one guy deciding to go

If PVDD are full on anti capitalist have they made it clear what they want to replace it with? At least the SP has a theoretical framework and we know what they would replace it with. What does the PVDD suggest we replace capitalism with? Or do we tear it down first and then see how we organise our economy?

Corek posted:Something I want to know is why the Netherlands has so many parties. I heard that no party has ever gained a full majority of votes/seats in the history of Dutch elections, is that true? The real question is why other countries have so few parties. Do y'all hate democracy?

Femke Halsema was liberal of the year in 2006 and Rutte wrote his Groenrechts pamphlet in 2008 so really it is long overdue. Embrace liberalism and face to bloodshed.

Netherlands formation update: Afraid formations of a 4 party coalition might not take long enough the parties have decided they will only negotiate 4 days a week and they will take a week off.

DrProsek posted:Related to that, this Washington Post Hot Take is exactly the wrong Take on France/Netherlands: GroenLinks quadrupled alright. Of course labour just lost 75% of their seats but i am sure that had nothing to do with it. One left wing party lost 30 seats, another gained 10. I am sure these events are completely unrelated.
