Most normal people realize that the hallmark of late 80's-early 90's RPGs--that you trigger one of three combat encounters every time you move 3 squares on the map--is not that fun. Then there are brokebrains who react to anything less HARDCORE than this with disdain.

The same thing happens in MMOs. People react with outrage if devs make any aspect of the game easier or less grindy, and if given a say will encourage the dev to instead make things more grindy.

Or ones like the people who clamoured for WOW to make its raids harder, when they hadn't done any of the raids themselves.

That's what Racemenu or ECE are for. They add sliders for everything to the character creator, so you can go as weird as you want while still using slider-compatible meshes. They even let you move the individual vertices on the head mesh in-game. Monster Factory's Skyrim videos use these to wonderful effect.

Bethesda does want to see modding work you’ve done as part of the CC application process. So what’s more likely here is the modder deleted his more “weirder” content before showing Bethesda his Nexus profile.

It's a completely baseless rumor, at that. The base game has skimpy outfits of its own (hello, Harness), and you can straight up have (off-screen) sex with Magnolia or that Robo-brain in Far Harbor, and there's implied sex when you romance a companion and sleep in a bed. Bethesda would not care at all, unless you were one of the people making rape mods.

Who says they're brainwashed slaves? And their entire handling of the child soldiers is incredibly moral. Snake refuses to kill those children, and actively wants to educate them so they go make something ofthemselves.

Also, having a sense of morality does not make someone a good person. It just makes them better than a sociopath.
