Kind of mentioned before, but remember moving is an excellent excuse to shed stuff that you don’t and won’t actually use. I mean the little stuff (e.g. older clothes, decorations, books, kitchen utensils etc.), not necessarily furniture.

The hourly rate doesn’t surprise me since it’d be two or more probably three guys. $50/hr/person is not uncommon in my limited experience.

The 5-6 hours seems too high for just moving (unless you’re moving a couple hours away) and too low for packing+moving.

But yeah, you’re not going to get cheaper than pizza and beer.
